Darcy smiled as he said, they were both good to go. She watched as he leaped out of the doors, of the Tardis into the deep ocean water. She saw him gestured for her to come along or for her to hurry up. She took a few steps back and ran and leaped into the water after him. She could feel the force of the water around her,as she walked/pushed her way toward him.
Darcy gazed out to their surrounding, her eyes widen in awe at the beautiful sight before her. Its amazing, she thought to herself. It was blue everywhere around her, a beautiful shade of blue. Blue was her favorite colour, she watched the surroundings around her. She saw children swimming around and hanging out, it looked like it was just a ordinary thing for them. It felt so surreal to her, that the world would become this in the future…
How were they handle to have a life like this….? how much time did it take for them to adjust?…she thought to herself, she looked toward Jack as he asked her a question. She grinned brightly, “yeah it is, so strange but amazing!” she replied with excitement in her tone.
“Mhm, and I believe it’s been like this for quite a while now,” he noted, his feet treading in the water to keep him in his current position. He swam towards a huge boulder and made its way above it, making sure Darcy was still behind me by checking from time to time.
Once he reached the boulder, he told Darcy to wait and then climbed up the structure, quite easily, due to the weakness of gravity underwater. He stood on the top, looked afar, as if studying their surroundings, and then headed back down.
“The city’s not far from here,” he said matter-of-factly. “Mind keeping me company?”
Darcy felt herself, slowly melt into the kiss. Thinking of nothing but him, as she lost herself more into the kiss. She felt his grip on her waist tighten, as he pulled her closer until their bodies were pressed together. She wrapped her arms around his neck, as she leaned against him slightly. Their bodies fitted perfectly together, she was enjoying this and wish for it not to end anytime soon.
She was about to trail her fingertips through his hair, but felt him pull away from her. She exhaled as his lips broke away from hers, she opened her eyes to look at him. He expression looked trouble, she didn’t understand what was the matter. She removed her hands from him and crossed her arms loosely to herself.
Her gaze stayed on him, watching his expression.
Did I do something wrong?….did I kiss him wrong?. Am I a bad kisser?, did I do something I shouldn’t have?…does he not like me?…
All those thoughts ran crazy around her mind, for a few moments as she continued to watch him in silences. She felt her heart pound hard against her rib cage, as her worry began to grew…
“Jack?…”.
Jack shook his head, as if he just got out from a trance. “I… I don’t know what happened, I-” he paused, trying to clear his mind for a bit. “You didn’t do anything wrong, Darcy, it was me.”
“I just can’t do it,” he repeated, not really knowing why or what was wrong.
“I’m sorry.” He bit his lip, trying to remember more of his past. But he couldn’t do that by standing there. “I… may have to talk to Tooth more about my memories. Seems like I didn’t get them all.”
She smiled and sat herself down on the sled. “Yep” she replied as she looked up at him. She held onto the sled, ready for when they would ride down the hill. “ready when you are”.
He sat in front of her, deciding it would probably be safer for the both of them. The ice factor made him able to control the snow, therefore, their path, after all. “Hold on tight!” he said, turning his head back slightly to check on her. “And… go!” They rode down the hill, and Jack put his arms up, feeling the wind across his face.
Her eyes shot wide for a moment, as he pressed his lips against hers. But slowly closed her eyes and felt her stomach flutter with butterflies, at the feeling of his lips against hers. She pressed her lips against his, kissing him back. His lips felt so soft, gentle and moist against hers. His lips against her felt so right, Darcy was loving every second of it. She slowly reached her hand up and, gently place her palm between his neck and cheek. While her other hand rested against his chest.
Needless to say, Jack was enjoying the kiss; it was obvious by how tight his grip was on her waist. He pulled her even closer, until their bodies were pressed against each other, it seemed difficult to pull away.
But then a memory returned to him. There they were, by the frozen lake, sharing an intimate moment, but somehow it felt all too familiar. He had been here before. He had done this before. With her. He could feel it. And then the fear came crashing down. He knew. He realized. Something terrible happened right there, in that spot, to the same people - them.
Jack had to pull away. Because he had the feeling that if he went on, it was going to happen again.
“yep, this hill will do” she replied, grinning excited. She was about to sit herself down on the sled, but froze mid way as she looked up at him. “i’m not going to fall off of this sled, am I?” she questioned. “it is made of ice after all.”
“It is not likely,” he said, looking down at the slope. He ground was slippery, but he was in perfect control because ice was his thing, being a winter spirit and all. “But don’t worry, I won’t let that happen.” He smiled, preparing the ride. “Wanna get on first?”
As he grew closer toward her, she couldn’t help but bite her lower lip slightly, with the corner of her lip curled upwards. She felt her tempo speed up slowly, as his face was inches away from hers. “Well~…..I guess you can have another.” Her cheeks blushing lightly.
“Don’t guess,” he said, beating Darcy to the chase when he put his lips against hers. Her lips were so soft, so gentle, and Jack couldn’t get enough of it. He put his arms around her waist, smiling into the kiss.
She watched as he magically made a sled, made out of ice with his staff. A smile bright came upon her lips, as her eyes shined with amazement. “that is so cool!” she beamed. “Lets find a hill, where we can ride this sled with!”.
“Let’s go, then!” He followed after her, controlling the ice sled with his staff as they walked along. Eventually they found a hill covered in snow, and he set the sled on top of it. “This hill good enough for you?” he asked, turning to her.
