Her eyes widen slightly, as well her brows raised as she heard him begin to laugh, which surprised her. She didn’t know what he was laughing about, she was being serious. She just stood there watching him laugh, until he calmed down. “Good one?, what ever do you mean?. I wasn’t joking, I was being serious. I think maybe you can sing, or at least better than I can” she remarked, crossing her arms over her chest.
All of a sudden his laughing turned to a halt. He realized that she didn’t get the sarcasm. Perhaps it was a bit too much. “I don’t sing, Darcy,” he said, rolling his eyes. “I don’t know why I even brought up caroling in the first place.”
