Darcy smiled thankfully as The Doctor, helped her place on her helmet and fixing her up. She followed after him as they headed back toward the Tardis main doors. She looked outside the door as people past by, not noticing them.

‘Don’t they see us or the Tardis….? or another one of the Tardis’s tricks?’ she questioned as she looked toward him. She watched as he leaned over to her, to activate her oxygen tank. 'Yep, Allons-y if everything is good to go?..’ she replied. She hoped she had everything fitted on properly…

“You got it,” he said, a smirk on his face. He then recalled the specific TARDIS feature and explained, as if he had it already memorized. “This trick makes the TARDIS go unnoticed, wherever - whenever - you put it,” he rambled, stroking the walls of the time machine. “Unnoticed, but not invisible. I think it’s brilliant!” He grinned.

The Doctor checked over Darcy’s suit a few more time before giving an enthusiastic nod. “Yup, we’re good to go,” he said opening the door. “Let’s give it another try, then. Allons-y!” He leaped out of the machine and into the water, where little by little they began to float on through the water. He gestured to his companion to come along, before looking around them to check their surroundings.

Everywhere, it was blue - his favorite colour, coincidentally. It was sea blue, but it wasn’t as dark as he would expect deep sea to be. There were trees, buildings, homes, and even children swimming around and hanging out as if it were the most ordinary thing in the world. “Well, isn’t this strangest?" He laughed, and looked at Darcy.

Darcy smirked at him with his comment. ‘I’m full of surprises, plus I would hurt a fly, if it annoyed me enough’ she replied. 

‘Ah…I see..’ she mumbled, 'guess that all makes sense….but never actually thought the world would go under water…’ she commented. She began to putting on her suit, as he said she could wear the suit, over her clothes. Darcy stopped dressing into her suit at his comment, her cheeks blushing lightly. She began going back to putting on her suit, once the suit was fully on her, she zipped up the torso of the suit.

She smiled a little as he said he was just kidding. ‘I don’t know…have I put it on properly?’ she asked as she faced him.

“Well, like you, the world is full of surprises,” he said with a grin, and grabbed the helmet. Finding the right side, he put the protective gear over his head and locked it up. He then turned to Darcy and looked at her suit. “Yes, you have,” he answered, nodding. “Impressive.”

The Doctor took Darcy’s helmet and placed it over her head for her. After fixing her up, he gestured outside the room and led them back to the TARDIS’ main door. Looking outside, he could see more people passing by, but they didn’t notice them. It was almost as if they were invisible. But the Doctor knew it was because of the TARDIS’ feature that let their machine go unnoticed.

He took a breath before flipping a switch on his helmet that would activate his oxygen tank. “Let me just help you a bit there,” he said, leaning over to activate Darcy’s tank.

“Alright. Allons-y?” he asked, raising a brow.

‘Sorry’ she replied as he told her to mind her manners. 'I’m not going to destroy your door!’ she replied back to him. When Darcy finally got the door open, she gave him a half smile. She followed after him as he entered the room, 'I thought it was obvious I was going to do that’ she remarked. She smirked a little as she followed him.

Darcy looked at the racks of clothing that filled the room. She saw a few outfits, that she wouldn’t mind wearing herself. Darcy’s gaze turn to the underwater suits as Jack pointed them out. She saw the colours and noticed the blue one, she was about to grab it but Jack beat her to it. Disappointment was clear on her face for a moment but she just sighed. She grabbed herself the white suit, she looked at Jack as he answered her question. She smiled a little to his answer, ‘well that is very cool’ she commented. 

'But Doctor….why is the world in this year so full of water….I hope there is some dry land left…or at least an under water city…’ she said as she looked down at her suit. 'Can we wear these suits over our clothes or will we have to change into them?…’ she asked as she looked at him.

“It wasn’t,” he said in defense, shrugging his shoulders lightly. Not that he was belittling her, but he didn’t quite expect the girl to make such a move. She seemed so nice and so sweet when they had met earlier, after all. “I didn’t think you’d hurt a fly.” He smirked, then began putting the suit on.

Her question caused him to stop dressing as he was just about to put on the body suit. “Well. After all those years of global warming and climate change, the Earth had finally sunk into the water, and since then, everybody lived underwater,” he said, as he continued to put on the outfit. “And oh, you can wear them over your clothes.” He zipped the torso part of the suit, leaving only his head undressed. The helmet was hung on the suit rack, waiting to be picked up. “But you can always just change into them if you want to,” he added, a mischievous glint in his eye.

“Hah, nah, I kid,” he said with a grin. “You ready?”

Darcy snap her head around to see the Doctor called out to her, she blinked. ‘oh…right’ she mumbled softly with a weak smile. She followed him to the door on the other side of the console room. ‘I wonder what happened to cause the world to turn out like that….’ she commented, ‘is there any dry land left I wonder….and an other thing…how do we even have air in here…if its all water outside..’ she questioned.

Darcy followed the Doctor through the door, leading to a hallway with even more doors and rooms in it. ‘The Tardis really does have huge space…’ she commented with a smile. She continued to follow him until they came upon the door that said, Adaptive Clothing and Miscellaneous..

Darcy waited for him to open the door, but when it turned out to be locked. She watched him take out a key to try and open the door, but after a few times of him trying, it wouldn’t open. She looked at Jack’s face to see him, thinking of what to do next.

Darcy looked at the door and back to him. ‘Stand back’ she said as she pushed him away a little. She faced the door fully, got herself ready and began kicking the door as hard as she could. She wasn’t very strong, but she hoped after a few kicks it would open. She knew she needed to train her body more…which she planned to do…at some point.

She give it a few kicks before it finally slammed open. ‘There!’ she said with a half smile.

The Doctor took a few steps backward, unaware of what Darcy was about to do. “Oi!” he exclaimed when she pushed him, a frown on his face. “Manners!”

“Don’t destroy my door!” he said as she began kicking. He’d use his Sonic - but it doesn’t do wood. He was about to let her stop when the door was busted open, revealing a complex and complete clothing room. He sighed, not wanting to admit that Darcy just might be a tad tougher than him.

He stepped forward to enter the room. “You could’ve told me what you were about to do,” he said with a sigh. His companions have always been stubborn. But that wasn’t something he was going to complain about. Stubborn companions are usually the ones that save his life.

Racks of clothing filled the room; costumes from different places, eras, times, worlds - everything. The Doctor was prepared for his travels and collected items along the way, including a fake Martian outfit. “Right over there are the underwater suits,” he said, referring to a smaller rack on their right. There hung four different suits - blue, red, silver, and white. Before Darcy could choose, the Doctor took the blue one. It was his favourite colour, after all.

“Oh, and to answer your question,” he paused to clear his throat. “The TARDIS protects everything inside, and probably a few feet around it. That’s why the water doesn’t go in. But we still need these if we wanna go out there,” he smiled, looking down on his suit.

When The Doctor Frost made a comment about her hair, she quickly did what she could to tidy her hair a little, after it getting a little messy. Darcy smiled as she watched him jump excitedly, and watched him make his way to look out the door. She didn’t move as she watched him, but she moved with him as he went back to the engine.

Darcy raised her brow as he told her the year, of where they have landed. ‘The year 3000?…wow’ she replied with a smile. She nodded in agreed, this was going to be fun. ‘Lets go and check it out already!’ she exclaimed as she rushed over to the Tardis doors. She slowly opened the door to see the sight before her…

Darcy saw children in scuba suits swimming around, she blinked at the sight. ‘What…’ she mumbled, surprised and confused. She watched in awe at the view before her….

What has happened over to years to cause this?…..

“Wait!” The Doctor said before rushing back to the TARDIS door where Darcy had headed. “We might need some gear first. I have some underwater suits at the back.” He pointed to a door on the other side of the console room and guided her there. The TARDIS had no limits when it came to space after all, there could be thousands - even millions - of rooms inside it and no one knows.

No one except the Doctor, that is.

He opened the said door and it showed them a hallway with more doors and rooms in it. “C'mon,” he said, gesturing for her to follow as he found the room with the door that said Adaptive Clothing & Miscellaneous. He turned the knob and it turned out to be locked, and so he reached into his pocket to open it with the TARDIS key.

After a lot of trials, the door still wouldn’t budge. “Huh,” the Doctor let out a confused sigh, wondering what was wrong.

As the he shouted to hold on, Darcy quickly held onto dead dear life onto one of the staff pillars. Darcy felt the Tardis shake rapidly under her feet, as the Tardis shook violently. She cling to the pillar as tight as she could, waiting for both her and her doctor to arrive to the future.

Darcy looked over to Jack as the Tardis stopped shaking, she let go of the pillar and let out a deep breath. Her hair was in a bit of a state but she smiled toward him. ‘I’m alright’ she replied, ‘yeah…it was quite the ride….heh’ she added,smiling.

The Doctor waited until the TARDIS was perfectly still before walking over to Darcy. “Indeed,” he said, before seeing his companions hair and letting out a chuckle. “Your hair is in a bit of a mess. But never mind that, we’re here!” He jumped excitedly. While he had done a little travelling before, it wasn’t quite the same as time travel.

“Let’s check things out,” he said, running over to the exit and opening the door a bit to take a peek. Outside, children in scuba suits were running around, or rather, swimming around, probably playing tag. The Doctor smiled - he did love kids. And even after such an alien transformation, some things never change. He turned back to the Darcy and hurried over to the engine. “I set the time at random,” he revealed, checking the console’s digital clock.

He arched an eyebrow upon learning when they were. “The year 3000,” he mumbled, a smirk on his lips. “This should be fun.”

Darcy followed Jack into the Tardis, she looked in awe to the beautiful inside of the Tardis. The Tardis now had a winter theme and it was beautiful, Darcy saw the six wood pillars that were shaped like a staff. The pillars looked like Jack’s staff, her smile began to grow more and grow as she went further into the Tardis. Darcy noticed the frost like patterns that decorate the edges of the walls.

She saw all of it and she fell in love with it. The Tardis was beautiful…

‘This is amazing…..’ she mumbled, smiling ear to ear. Darcy looked over to Jack as he spoke to her, she walked over toward him and went to stand beside him. Darcy grinned, 'How about the future?’ she replied.

Darcy didn’t really care where in the future they went, she was happy to see anything or everything. She wondered of where they could be heading in the future and what she would see, but she had a feeling it was going to be amazing.

When Darcy decided on the future, the Doctor flashed a smile at her, before operating the controls on the console. “Brilliant. To the future, then!” Without hesitation, he pulled the last lever that activated the time machine and sent the TARDIS flying into the time vortex. “Hold on!” he cried, grabbing onto a staff beside him as the TARDIS shook violently.

By the time everything had simmered down, and the inside of the time machine had stopped shaking, the Doctor let go of the staff-like pillar, and bent over to catch his breath. “Whoa,” he said, panting heavily. “That was quite a ride. You alright there?”

Darcy looked at Jack as he searched around, she couldn’t believe he was lost. When he brought her all this way, yes she is follow him but she thought he knew where he was going. Darcy followed Jack’s gaze and her eyes met a blue box, with the title “Police box”. Her eyes widen…

It couldn’t be……could it?…Darcy thought to herself, as she slowly walked over to the box with Jack. As she could closer to the blue box, ‘It’s…is it really?’ she mumbled to herself softly. She looked at the box in awe and stroke her hand along the wood of the box. She slowly circled the box, stroking along it. She was speechless….

As she made her way around the box, back to the front of it. She grinned brightly, she looked at Jack with excitement as he said the words. ‘It really is the TARDIS!! OH MY GOD!!’ she cheered, jumping excitedly to herself.

Darcy looked at Jack, noticing his dark blue suit and noticed the sonic screwdriver in his hands. She watched as he spoke and opened the Tardis. Darcy grinned brightly at him with a shine in her eyes. She took his hand in hers, ‘One trip’ she agreed as she walked into the Tardis.

The light above the TARDIS glowed as the two entered the machine, signifying that it had chosen a new Doctor. Jack.

The Doctor looked observed the interior with curiosity and wonder, at the same time admiring its new appearance. Instead of the coral display that the Tenth Doctor used to have, or the futuristic look of the Eleventh Doctor’s console room, this Doctor had bright white walls that should have been blinding, and yet it almost seemed pleasing to the eyes.

Winter was the theme, as frost-like patterns seemed to decorate the edges of the walls. The floor had a bluish tint, and had a texture similar to the surface of a frozen lake. Six thin wooden pillars that were shaped like a staff circled the engine, which was pentagonal as usual, only that it had a silver color scheme.

“Right, then,” he said, grinning at his companion. He liked the place, he liked who he was about to travel with, and he was ready for an adventure. The Doctor checked the consoles and turned on the engine. "All of time and space, where do you want to start?“

Lost. Jack was definitely lost. This was a part of the woods unfamiliar to him, for reason, and he wondered why. He had the area memorized, after all. With Darcy by his side, he looked around to search for the way back, when something behind the tree caught his eye.

A blue box with a title that said “Police Box”. He was urged to ignore the object at first, but being the curious person that he was, he persisted through the urge and walked briskly towards the unusual object.

“It’s a…” He was speechless. He couldn’t even say the word; he was too much in disbelief to utter it. Gently brushing his hand on the door of the box, he looked back at Darcy in excitement. “It’s a TARDIS.” He paused, unable to absorb this information. “It actually is a TARDIS!” And with that, Jack looked down on his clothes; he was dressed in a dark blue suit, with a black shirt underneath, and was holding a sonic screwdriver.

“What do say, Darcy,” he said opening the TARDIS with a key he had gotten from the top of the box. “One trip?"
